Brittney Griner plans to play in the WNBA again, despite the league reportedly facing a potential problem.
Many in the league believe Griner, who was imprisoned in Russia for nearly a year, will have to fly privately due to security concerns.
Griner has stated that she intends to play in the league again.

Unfortunately, it is not surprising. Hopefully Griner will be able to figure out the flying situation.
“NBA players say they care so much about the WNBA, why don’t they negotiate as part of their CBA for the WNBA to get charter flights? The NBA already keeps the WNBA afloat, so why not just make it part of the deal for charter airline flights for NBA teams,” one fan wrote.
“Besides the possible Britney Griner issue, the fact that the WNBA doesn’t fly private is insane to me. How come they’re the only ones who don’t?” a fan added.
“I’m really trying to figure out a few details… 1. If Griner hasn’t requested special travel accommodations, why is there an assumption that she will need it? Is Griner at ongoing elevated risk? 2. If private travel is t allowed, can you realistically overcome it?” a fan added.
Griner currently lives in Arizona with his wife, Cherelle. Her specific WNBA plans are unclear, but she plans to play again.
