US Open NBC coverage draws response from USGA’s Mike Whan

US Golf Association CEO Mike Whan has heard the criticism.

The social media backlash from countless viewers who found NBC’s broadcast across multiple networks bordering on unwatchable due to the endless ad breaks did not fall on deaf ears.

“I’m on it!” Mike Whan tweeted from his personal account. “We have the best sports production team in the world here with our partner NBC Sports (Olympics, Super Bowl, etc.) and if the amount of interruptions are problematic, we will work with our partner to do better.”
