Japanese tennis star Naomi Osaka is among the top current generation tennis players. The 24-year-old has already won 4 Major titles in a very short span of time. Although her recent form is a sign of worry. The Japanese has failed to perform up to expectations this year. She crashed out of the French Open with a first-round loss. Furthermore, she missed out on Wimbledon Championships 2022 due to an Achilles injury.

Amidst these tough times, she has received ample support from her fans and family; including her boyfriend Cordae. However, there were some rumors afloat about the couple breaking up. However, Osaka came up with a unique way to quash it.

Naomi Osaka reacts to the rumors of her break up

Naomi Osaka and her rapper boyfriend Cordae have mostly kept their relationship private, unlike many other celebrity couples. However, the recent rumors forced Osaka to come out and clear the air. But, the way she did it was classy.

She posted a picture of herself and Cordae peeping into a smartphone and wrote,

“us looking at Twitter yesterday.”

The former world number 1 seemingly took a dig at people who are spreading the rumors of her breakup.

The 24-year-old has finally returned from break and is featuring in the ongoing Silicon Valley classic.

Osaka makes a winning start in San Jose

Playing her first match after the French Open exit in May, the 24-year-old made a winning start to her campaign. In her clash with Zheng Qinwen of China, the former world number 1 registered victory in three sets.

Osaka started well as she claimed the first set 6-3. However, the Chinese made a comeback to take the next set 6-3. In the decider set, Osaka showed complete dominance, taking the set 6-1.

Further, the Japanese will clash with Coco Gauff of America. The 18-year-old is in terrific form this year. She had a brilliant run in the French Open, reaching the final of the tournament.
