Cowboys QB Dak Prescott, girlfriend Natalie Buffett split
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and Natalie Buffett have split after two years of dating, Page Six can exclusively reveal.
Multiple sources confirm that the longtime couple did indeed split around March 2022, but have kept it tight-lipped. We’re also told that Prescott has been casually dating.
Reps for the former couple did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
The athlete, 29, and Buffett, 25, began dating sometime in 2020 based on photos on social media, though it’s unclear exactly when they became official. She posted their first photo together in honor of his 27th birthday, captioning the outdoor photo at the time, “Happy birthday baby.”
The model honored the occasion the following year, writing: “So proud of everything you’ve accomplished and overcome this past year.” However, she has since deleted the tribute.
Prescott has not appeared on the model’s Instagram page since February 2022, when they attended the NFL Honors event together; however, she does not appear on his side at all.
News of the break comes at a brutal time for Prescott, as he and the Cowboys lost 19-12 to the 49ers during the NFC divisional round on Sunday. The NFL pro took the blame himself, telling reporters that the elimination was “100 percent” on him.
“Yeah, just disappointed. Guys that played their ass off. The defense that gave us an opportunity to win this game, that played hard against a really, really good offense, a really good team,” Prescott said.
“And it’s unacceptable for us to only put up the points we did, and it starts with me. I’ve got to get better. No other way to sugar coat it.”
