Clay Wedin pledge could help Michigan State football land elite 2024 RB
Jaylon Braxton just committed to Michigan State football this week, but it looks like he’s already a candidate to flip to Arkansas.
Just days after landing a four-star cornerback recruit from Texas, Michigan State football looks like it may be losing Jaylon Braxton to the SEC.
Since his visit to East Lansing, Braxton has taken two visits now. He took one to Baylor last weekend and then committed to Michigan State right after and everyone kind of assumed he was canceling his Arkansas official, but he still took it this weekend.
Apparently his trip to Fayetteville went well because he received a few flip crystal balls on Sunday morning, led by Steve Wiltfong who usually has some really good inside info.
So after committing to Michigan State five days ago and becoming the latest four-star recruit to join the class, Braxton looks to be headed elsewhere.
Corey Robinson, too, placed a crystal ball for a flip to Arkansas as the SEC strikes again.
This comes on the heels of a Samson Okunlola visit to Alabama where the Tide trolled the Spartans by saying “rings over lambos” as he was pictured with title rings on his fingers. This was a direct shot at Michigan State who rolled out a Lamborghini for his visit to take pictures with.
Mel Tucker is going to win his share of recruiting battles, but he’s finding out the hard way that it’s just as tough to keep these guys committed or hold their interest as it is to land them in the first place.
Hopefully Braxton thinks more about this and stays committed, but it’s not looking great for the good guys.
