No One Can Touch The Latest Sprint Car Rankings

Brad Sweet continues to moan.

The three -time World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series champion continues to lead the National Sprint Car Rankings despite only one race win this season.

Sweet, who also tops the World of Outlaws standings, has an average finish of 5.750 on 28 starts.

After winning the Dean Knittel Memorial at Ohio’s Portsmouth Raceway Park, Brent Marks jumped to second in the rankings, boasting a 6.472 average finish in 36 races.

Third was World of Outlaws driver Carson Macedo, with Danny Dietrich and Anthony Macri entering the top five.

Forty-three drivers have now made the 20 starts needed to qualify for the rankings, with 654 drivers starting at least one 410 winged sprint car feature this season.

Macri, who is the country’s winningest driver with 12 victories, continues to lead the Eastern region. Dominic Scelzi remains at the top of the Western region standings.

Jason Keith moved to the top of the Mid-America region, while Tyler Courtney jumped to the top of the standings in the Great Lakes region.

Austin McCarl led the Great Plains points. With seven wins this season, AJ Flick leads the PA-Ohio regional standings.

Eighty -seven drivers combined to win 185 feature runs this season.
