23XI Racing’s Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin announced on Tuesday that the team has signed Tyler Reddick to drive for it starting in 2024.
“Announcing a driver for a year before he will race the 23XI is pretty unprecedented, but Tyler is the driver we want and we don’t want to miss the opportunity to bring him to our team,” the president said. of 23XI Racing Steve Laluta.
Laluta added that the early announcement will provide additional opportunities to build business partnerships and sponsorships around Reddick before he arrives on the team.
Two-time Xfinity Series champion Reddick, 26, got his first Cup Series win this year at Road America for Richard Childress racing and is currently 14th in the season points standings.
“23XI have done so much in less than two full seasons that they went to the garage, and I can’t wait to be a part of their continued success,” Reddick said.

The 23XI team is currently putting up cars for Bubba Wallace and Kurt Busch. The team told Fox News Autos there will be no driver change in 2023, but has not confirmed how many cars it plans to operate in 2024.

Busch had one win in 2022 and was 16th in points, which put him in a playoff position, while Wallace was 24th without a win.
