CONCORD, NC-Kyle Larson banked $ 25,000 following a dominant performance on night two of the Colossal 100 at The Dirt Track in Charlotte Thursday.

Larson started at the pole and led all 30 laps of the four-tenths-mile dirt track to score his first XR Super Series victory. He finished .741 seconds before fast qualifier Brandon Overton.

Wednesday night’s winner Chris Madden finished third, with Tim McCreadie and Scott Bloomquist rounding out the top five.

That was Larson’s second dirt late model victory of the season, but the reigning NASCAR Cup Series champion was not on the Dirt Track for the $ 50,000-to-win event on Saturday because his NASCAR promises would take him to Kansas Speedway for the weekend. .

Overton’s 14.594-second lap was the best of the 50 drivers who signed in.
