Chase Elliott Advances to Overshadow Hendrick Teammate and Rival Kyle Larson in 2022 NASCAR Rat Race

All four Hendrick Motorsports drivers successfully advanced to the Round of 12. Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson, William Byron, and Alex Bowman will compete with and against each other for the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series championship.

However, the clash between the two teammates – Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott – has been a topic of discussion this season. And with both of them qualifying for the next round, fans seem divided between Elliott and Larson’s chances to win the championship.

Recently, NASCAR on NBC asked fans about their opinion on who will advance in the NASCAR Playoffs. And unsurprisingly, NASCAR fans immediately poured out their views in the comment section. However, it is interesting to note that they pre-dominantly chose Chase Elliott over Kyle Larson.

Many are excited to witness Larson capture two consecutive Cup Series championships this season. Since Jimmie Johnson, no other NASCAR driver has registered two consecutive wins. And if Larson archives that, it will be historic.

However, most NASCAR fans in the comment section supported Chase. The #9 Chevrolet driver currently leads the points table. Currently, with more than 3040 points to his name, Elliott is likely to clinch the 2022 Cup Series title. While it won’t be as historic as Kyle’s, the 2020 Cup Series champion will still register his second career win.

However, it’s clear that if anyone wins, Hendrick Motorsports will add another feather to its cap. With all four drivers in Round 12, the team increased its chances of winning the series.
