2023 Ford Maverick Tremor, 2023 Ferrari 296 GT3, electric NASCAR series: Car News Today

Ford’s Maverick enters the 2023 model year with a newly available Tremor package. The package makes the compact pickup truck even more capable when going off-road thanks to suspension upgrades and additional driver-assist features.

Ferrari has unveiled the 296 GT3 race car designed to replace the highly successful 488 GT3 from 2023. The car is closely related to the 296 GTB but bypasses the hybrid road car segment.

The presentation slides said to range from a NASCAR meeting point to a demonstration electric series being hosted as early as 2023. The series will use prototype race cars with a capacity of more than 1,000 hp and enough capacity of battery to last 30 minutes on the track.
