Well, if you’re still catching up, there are some spoilers to follow. Now, as you may remember The 70s show The series finale ended with Mila Kunis’ character, Jackie, ultimately choosing to meet up with Fez – played by Wilmer Valderrama.

But in the very first episode of the new 10-episode reboot, we find out that Jackie and her ex-boyfriend Kelso — famously played by Kunis’ now-husband Ashton Kutcher — are married and have a son together .

Over the course of one episode, we get an explanation for the breakup as Fez and matriarch Kitty Forman – played by Debra Jo Rupp – discuss it while she takes a seat in his hair salon chair. Kitty questions Fez about what happened with him and Jackie, and he reveals that Jackie broke up with him almost right after the last episode, during a trip they took to Jamaica. She then went home to get back together with Kelso.

But do the show’s timelines make sense now that Jackie and Kelso’s son, Jay – played by star Mace Coronel – was sixteen in 1995? As ScreenRant has observed, this timing would technically overlap with the end of Jackie’s relationship with Fez, with That 70’s showThe last episode takes place in late 1979.

This decision also came as a shock to the cast, as Mila Kunis revealed in a recent interview with Get access to Hollywood that: “My husband and I are together in (the new show), which is weird because we shouldn’t have been,” she said.

“You know what, I called BS. I was like, ‘My character wanted to be with Fez.’ I think I ended up with Wilmer’s character. And I was like, ‘Why are you and I together?'” added Kunis.

“And also, he was married then The 70s ended up, to Shannon Elizabeth’s character, I think. Now we are 20 years old – no, 16 years later, whatever that is – and now we are married with a child. And I was like, ‘I don’t know about this one,'” she explained.
