Just in case you thought all the drama with Prince Harry and the royal family was over, gentle reminder that Harry is about to drop a casual memoir about his life. And, as usual, the royals are spiraling.
While the exact content of Harry’s book has been kept under wraps, Page Six reports that it “contains yet more explosive truth bombs,” and that it’s still due to come out in fall 2022 (there was previously some speculation that it’d be delayed until 2023).
One publishing source just told the outlet “it’s juicy, that’s for sure,” while another noted that “There’s a lot of new stories in there about the past that Harry has not spoken about before, about his childhood … there is some content in there that should make his family nervous. ”
The one person in the royal family who does not have to be nervous, though? That’d be Her Majesty the Queen. Apparently, Harry has made sure not to include anything negative about his grandmother, who he’s extremely close to.
So far, Harry’s only made a brief and drama-free statement about his upcoming memoir, saying “I’m writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become. I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story — the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned — I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to share what I’ve learned over the course of my life so far and excited for people to read a firsthand account of my life that’s accurate and wholly truthful. ”
Literally cannot wait to read.
